What the school must do
Amelia will receive support from a teaching assistant for some lessons each week, with a focus on her reading and writing. The school will provide opportunities for small-group work where appropriate.
Speech and language therapy will be provided as needed, with the SENCO liaising with the NHS service. Strategies to support working memory and processing speed will be embedded across the curriculum.

We're a community interest company, not a start-up chasing a return: no ads, and we never sell your family's data. Signing up keeps the free tools free for families who can't pay.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is very good at sounding confident. That's exactly the danger when it's your child's legal rights, and your child's data, on the line.

Built on UK SEND law, not guesswork. Trained directly on the Children and Families Act, the SEND Code of Practice and the regulations, and checked by legal review, so it cites the law instead of inventing it.

It has never read the SEND Code of Practice. A general-purpose model with no grounding in UK SEND law will confidently make up rights, timescales and legal tests that simply don't exist, and you won't know which parts are wrong.

It ships your child's data to Silicon Valley. Everything you paste in (diagnoses, reports, your child's name) is uploaded to OpenAI in the US, outside UK data-protection law, where your conversations can be used to train the next version of ChatGPT.
